A coffee festival held in Taga Town, Inukami District, Shiga Prefecture. Twenty-seven roasters from Japan and abroad will gather for the event, and a barista champion is reportedly coming all the way from Bangkok, Thailand. Alongside coffee, there are food trucks, direct sales of local vegetables, street performers, and Molkky (a Finnish throwing game) experiences, so it sounds like a great day out for the whole family. The tasting ticket book (four tickets) lets you sample small 70 ml pours from each shop, served in original milk bottles. Advance tickets are 200 yen cheaper than tickets bought on the day.
