A Japan Coffee Festival held across Mount Koya and its foothills along the Nankai Koya Line. This unique festival invites you to journey along the railway with coffee in hand, spanning 9 stations between Kii-Shimizu and Koyasan stations. This year's theme is "Guided by the Coffee Ticket of Destiny: A Journey of Chance Encounters and Open Spaces," featuring an imaginative twist—one of your three tasting tickets is drawn at random as a "Destiny Coffee Ticket," so every encounter is a delightful surprise. Tasting tickets are priced at 1,800 yen for advance purchase and 2,000 yen on the day, and include a special coffee booklet and a 100-yen voucher toward coffee bean purchases. A 1-day unlimited travel pass for the Kii-Shimizu to Koyasan stations (600 yen) is also available, making it perfect for a leisurely exploration of the line. Advance tickets can be purchased through e+ (eplus), Seven Ticket, participating cafes, and cooperating retailers. For full details, visit the official website.
